Man in 30s rushed to hospital after being knifed on busy Enfield road in dead of night

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police Service said: "Police were called at approximately 2am on Saturday, April 13, to reports of a man assaulted in Hertford Road, near the junction with Stainton Road, Enfield. Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found a man, believed aged in his 30s, suffering knife injuries; he was taken to hospital for treatment – his injuries are not life threatening.

"There has been no arrest and enquiries into the circumstances continue. Anyone with information that could assist is asked to call 101 or ‘X’ @MetCC and quote CAD655/13Apr.

"You can also provide information anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
