Man in critical condition for a month after assault at Woolwich bus stop

The assault took place at 3.25am on Sunday, March 17. A 35-year-old was injured close to the bus stop outside Woolwich Centre Library on Wellington Street

Police and London Ambulance Service paramedics were called to the scene. The man was rushed to hospital and he remains there in a critical condition a month on.

Police have described the suspect as a Black man, around 5ft 10 inches tall. He was wearing dark clothing at the time of the attack.
