Married Met Police officer repeatedly sent anonymous sexual messages to female colleague on burner phone from ASDA

He then groped the thigh and buttocks of another PC as he helped her get down from a high ledge when they were investigating a burglary. Just nine months into the job in November 2020, he suddenly began messaging the first victim, despite them both being in relationships

She stopped replying and told him she was not interested, but the officer -nicknamed "Creepy Campbell" by colleagues -continued to text on WhatsApp.

Around three months later, Campbell then targeted another new female member of the Clapham Safer Neighbourhood Team, based in south London, with inappropriate messages from a burner phone he bought in Asda.

When he messaged, "Hey x. So are u loyal to your fella or do you consider other avenues ... X", PC C, as she was referred to, responded: "Who is this"

He then said: "Can't say atm, too risky as I am with someone so being very naughty. Being a sleeze sicbehind the mrs back and thought I could try and hook up with you”

To which the woman replied: "Look I don't know who this is, but my grandad died last night so I'd prefer it if you left me alone."

He continued to text her without admitting who he was, until he then texted her from his actual number.

PC C then confronted Campbell while secretly recording their conversation and he finally admitted sending the anonymous messages.

Campbell was also accused of sexually assaulting another probationary colleague by deliberately touching her bottom in the guise of helping her down from a garage roof during a police operation.

PC B, as she was dubbed, said she was not going to report what happened, but after the Wayne Couzens case, she decided to take her complaint to bosses.

When PC A, who was the officer first texted by Campbell, climbed on a table in the office to write on a notice board, Campbell told her it "made my week that did, your legs on the table".

While standing on the table, she felt her phone vibrate in her pocket and when she looked at it saw PC Campbell had commented on her legs.

He also texted her, "missed your sexy little bod last 10 days", "you looked absolutely gorgeous today!", "you are my dream co-worker'' and "you're actually gorgeous Xxxxx".

A misconduct hearing this month heard Campbell, who had been in Kent Police for seven years and with the Met for more than 10, sent the rookie pair unwanted texts saying he wanted to start affairs with them, "causing substantial anxiety, upset...
