Met Police release image of suspect wanted over 57 London burglaries 'linked to organised crime'

Police say residents in South West London reported an increase in stolen bikes and noticed some of them -worth up to £10,000 -were up for sale online, between March and December 2023. After a probe, on March 21 the force executed six warrants and three suspects were arrested and charged. After further investigation, two more suspects were charged in connection with the burglaries

Police say all five -four men and a woman -are allegedly linked to an organised crime gang and have appeared in court. A 22-year-old man turned themselves in at Wandsworth Police Station, and was later bailed pending further enquiries.

Detective Chief Inspector Dan O'Sullivan, who is leading the investigation, said: "Listening to local residents, tackling violent crime and reducing burglary, are all priorities in our 'A New Met for London' plan.
