Finnish industrial machinery company Metso (HEL:METSO) announced on Monday that it is acquiring Tedd Engineering in the UK to enhance its digital and automation capabilities in the aggregates sector.
Tedd Engineering, a privately-owned company, specializes in automation, control systems, and electrical solutions for mobile equipment and aftermarket services. With around 70 employees, it is headquartered in Chesterfield, UK, and reported sales of approximately GBP15m in the fiscal year ending in June 2023.
The acquisition is set to be finalized in Q4 2023, and the transaction value remains undisclosed, with no significant financial impact on Metso.
