Finnish industrial machinery company Metso (HEL:METSO) announced on Tuesday the launch of a hydrogen-based FerroflameTM LowNOx burners in its NextGen PelletizingTM plant product range, catering to traveling grate pelletizing plants.
These innovative burners are exclusively hydrogen-powered, aligning with Metso's Planet Positive initiative for eco-efficient technologies. Operating on the LowNOx combustion principle, they mirror the natural gas-based Ferroflame LowNOx burners introduced in 2022 and can easily replace traditional burners in pelletizing plants.
