Motorcyclist dies in M25 crash after being hit by car in high-speed police chase

The motorcyclist sadly died at the scene despite the efforts of paramedics. Part of the roundabout junction was closed for several hours while investigation work took place. It was reopened around 10:30am on Monday, April 15

The car involved in the crash was in a high-speed pursuit with officers from Kent Police on its tail. The police force has now made a mandatory referral to the Independent Office for Police Conduct. They are also appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

A spokesperson for Essex Police said: "We are appealing for any witnesses to a fatal collision at junction 30 of the M25. If you have any dashcam footage from the incident or information, please contact us quoting incident number 1331 of Saturday 14 April.
