Nikola Corporation (NASDAQ: NKLA), a global company involved in zero-emissions transportation and energy infrastructure solutions, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with OPAL Fuels LLC, a company that delivers renewable natural gas and renewable fuelling infrastructure for heavy-duty truck fleets, for the development, construction, and operation of hydrogen fuelling stations in North America and the use of renewable natural gas in hydrogen production.

According to the Memorandum of Understanding, both firms aim to co-develop and co-market hydrogen refuelling infrastructure to expedite the implementation of heavy-duty zero-emission fuel-cell electric vehicles
