Oxford City Council has commissioned a 50kW rapid charger at the Oxford Direct Services hub in order to allow the use of an electric refuse collection vehicle.
This move is part of a GBP41m Energy Superhub Oxford project, headed by Oxford City Council and Pivot Power, that intends to test various types of zero-emission transport solutions.
