The perfume has a "fresh, feminine" floral scent. It's got spicy woody undertones, with Elizabeth Arden saying that "opening a bottle of Blue Grass is like an instant trip to the countryside on a warm summer day".
The eau de parfum has base notes of sandalwood, Virginia cedar, and musk. It's got middle notes of vetiver, clove, and laurel, and top notes of rose, jasmine, lily, lavender, geranium, and orange blossom.
The perfume has 4.6 stars at The Fragrance Shop, 4.8 stars at The Perfume Shop, and 4.4 stars at Elizabeth Arden. On Amazon, it's got 4.5 stars from 2,694 reviews.
