Popular Edinburgh city centre restaurant to be transformed into yoga studio

The proposed new business would sit in Atholl Place, in the heart of the New Town

The new plans, by Pointe Ahead Pilates, will completely convert the old restaurant into the new pilates and yoga centre. The bar will be converted into a new reception and welcoming area and the plans show space for multiple studios across the two floors of the building.

The proposed plans show that the new yoga studio will have at least five different studios, two on the ground floor and three on the first floor.

On the first floor will be a soft room, a Mat studio and even a massage room while on the first floor will be a private studio and a reformer studio.

Entering through the former bar of the old take out restaurant, on the ground floor will also be a waiting area for people before they go in for their classes of private workshops.

If the plans go ahead, the new studio will be open Monday to Friday from 7am until 9pm and from 8am until 4pm on the weekends.
