If any person wishes to question the validity of these Orders or of any of the provisions contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act or on the grounds that any requirements of the Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to these Orders may within 6 weeks from the 15th April 2021 apply to the High Court for this purpose.

BIRMINGHAM CITY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (AS AMENDED) SECTION 14(2) (SPA GROVE, STIRCHLEY) (T2122023) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH FOOTPATH) ORDER 2021 NOTICE is hereby given that Birmingham City Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any person from proceeding in either direction along the footpath in Spa Grove for its entire length.

The diversion route for persons affected by the Order will be signed via Pineapple Road.

The aforementioned length of footpath will remain open for contractor's plant and for local authority and emergency services.

The temporary Order is required to allow Footway Works to be carried out in safety.

Access to frontages will be maintained as necessary. These prohibitions shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

The Order will come into operation on Wednesday 28th April 2021 and will remain in force for a period of 20 weeks or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier.
