If any person wishes to question the validity of these Orders or of any of the provisions contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act or on the grounds that any requirements of the Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to these Orders may within 6 weeks from the 14th September 2023 apply to the High Court for this purpose.

(VARIATION TO CONSOLIDATION ORDERS) (EXPERIMENTAL) ORDER 2023 (ELECTRIC SCOOTER PARKING PLACES) (INNER ZONE CPZ VARIATION) (EXPERIMENTAL) ORDER 2023 (ELECTRIC SCOOTER PARKING PLACES) (OUTER ZONE CPZ VARIATION) (EXPERIMENTAL) ORDER 2023 (ELECTRIC SCOOTER PARKING PLACES) (CHAMBERLAIN GARDENS CPZ VARIATION) (EXPERIMENTAL) ORDER 2023 (ELECTRIC SCOOTER PARKING PLACES) (EASTSIDE CPZ VARIATION) (EXPERIMENTAL) ORDER 2023 (ELECTRIC SCOOTER PARKING PLACES) (GUN QUARTER CPZ VARIATION) (EXPERIMENTAL) ORDER 2023 (ELECTRIC SCOOTER PARKING PLACES) (JEWELLERY QUARTER CPZ VARIATION) (EXPERIMENTAL) ORDER 2023 On the 14th day of September 2023 the above named Council made the above named Orders under Sections 9 and 10 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) ("the Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act the effect of which is to introduce Experimental Traffic Regulation Orders to: 1. To provide for Electric Scooter Parking Places on footways in Birmingham.

2. To provide for Pedal Cycle Parking Places on footways in Birmingham. These Orders will come into operation on 22nd September 2023.

The above named Council will consider in due course whether these Experimental Orders should be made permanent. Persons wishing to object to the making of the permanent Order must, within six months of the date the Order coming into operation or the date of any modification which might be made, send a statement in writing, including the grounds for their objection to the Assistant Director Transport & Connectivity, PO Box 14439, 1 Lancaster Circus Queensway, Birmingham, B2 2JE.
