Ryanair launch Edinburgh summer 'rescue flights' as British Airways, easyJet and TUI cancel trips

British Airways, easyJet, and TUI have all announced cancellations in recent days amid staff shortages, disrupting holiday plans for people across Scotland and the UK.

The new "low fare" Ryanair flights are available to purchase now from Ryanair.com for travel up to the end of September.

However, according to the operator, they must be booked before midnight on June 23.

One sample route is between Edinburgh and the Spanish island of Gran Canaria, while others include Glasgow-Malaga and Stansted-Alicante.
