Sempra Energy (NYSE: SRE), a San Diego-based energy infrastructure company, has signed a contract to complete the sale of its United States business by selling its remaining wind operating and development assets to American Electric Power.
The deal is valued at USD551m in cash, subject to closing adjustments and working capital.
