Sempra Infrastructure, a subsidiary of US-based utility company Sempra (NYSE: SRE) (BMV: SRE), has named Tania Ortiz Mena as its new president.

In the new role, Mena is to head the firm's three business lines - clean power, energy networks, and LNG and net-zero solutions. She has served as group president of clean power and energy networks at Sempra Infrastructure. She has 23 years of experience in the Sempra family of companies, where she has held various roles including serving as IEnova's chief executive officer, chief development officer and vice president of development and external affairs.

Presently, Ortiz Mena serves as independent board member of the Mexican Stock Exchange and chairs its Corporate Practices Committee. She serves as an active participant in the US-Mexico CEO Dialogue and the Inter-American Dialogue. She also serves...
