Sierra Oil & Gas, an independent oil and gas company in Mexico, has signed a contract with Deutsche Erdoel AG, a subsidiary of L1 Energy.
After the completion of the deal, Sierra will be merged into Deutsche Erdoel Mexico, a fully-owned subsidiary of DEA AG. The resulting portfolio will include ten exploration blocks and one onshore production block and is expected to require capital investment of more than USD2bn over the next five years.
