Skanska AB (STO: SKAB) announced on Wednesday the signing of a contract with Highline Public Schools in Burien, Washington, USA, to build a replacement high school.

This contract, valued at USD113.5m, will be included by Skanska in its US order bookings for the third quarter of 2019.

According to Skanska, it will demolish the existing high school and build a new 22,000 square-metre replacement school, which will serve up to 1,500 students.

This project includes general and specialty classrooms, a theatre and black box drama classroom, career and technical education spaces, science classrooms, multiple gyms and tennis courts.
