Staples Corner Mercedes crashed through fence and rolled down embankment before 3 found dead

There were five people, , in the Mercedes CLK convertible which crashed through a car park fence and down an embankment before striking a footbridge. Three of the five in the car died at the scene and one young man is fighting for his life in hospital

Met Police officers attended the location near Brent Cross shopping centre along with London Fire Brigade, London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance. They found five people. One man is in critical condition while the fifth man's condition has been assessed as not life-threatening.

Officers believe a number of cars were in the car park at the time of the fatal crash but it is not believed the Mercedes collided with any other vehicle.. Enquires are ongoing to establish what happened and to trace everyone who was in the car park at the time of the incident.

A Met Police spokesperson added there have been no arrests and said the car had not been stolen. The recovery process was extremely complicated which led to extensive road...
