Netherlands-based automaker Stellantis is planning an indefinite layoff at its Sterling Heights stamping plant in Michigan, USA, from next week.
The automaker has not revealed the number of employees being laid off but in an emailed statement to Reuters, it said that the decision was made 'in order to operate the plant in a more sustainable manner'.
