Angela Rippon has sent Strictly Come Dancing fans into 'overdrive' thanks to the song she and pro partner Kai Widdrington will be dancing to for the show's Halloween Special on Saturday. And it should also be the dance to 'silence' critics who claim that Angela has only been given 'slow' dances so far.

Broadcasting veteran Angela has been a total revelation since the new series of Strictly kicked off last month, with her and Kai up there with one of the most consistent couples in the ballroom this year. Things got off to a seriously good start with their week one cha cha, as Angela defied her 79 years, by executing a daring leg lift.

Since then, they have been well away from the danger zone on the leaderboard week in, week out, although Angela has come in for some criticism from viewers who believe she's been given an easier time of things in the BBC ballroom, thanks to the slow pace of her routines, despite her doing a Quickstep for Movie Week.
