TCF National Bank (TCF Bank), a subsidiary of TCF Financial Corporation (NASDAQ: TCF), has said that it has appointed Brendon Tripodo as managing director of wealth management.

In his new role, Tripodo will be responsible for the overall strategy of the wealth management line of business that includes private banking, trust, investment management and retirement planning services.

'Brendon's substantial experience in wealth management will be integral in the continued growth of the bank and the resources we can provide for our customers,' said Chris McComish, director of regional banking at TCF Bank. 'His forward-thinking approach will ensure that we deliver distinctive and superior client service in accordance with our goals and objectives.'
