Ted Bundy’s final hours before death – serial killer’s last meal and chilling last words

The notorious killer murdered more than 30 women and children during his murder spree – and managed to escape police custody twice.

When Bundy was caught for the last time, he was convicted of his crimes in two separate trials – and sentenced to death for the kidnapping and murder of 12-year-old Kimberly Leach.

Like many death row inmates, Bundy spent several years in prison before his execution.

After nine years in Florida State prison the vile killer was put to death by the state.

By this point he had exhausted appeals and finally confessed to a staggering 30 murders – though experts believe there could have been more.

On his last night alive Bundy called his mother twice to say goodbye.

Hundreds of people set up camp outside to celebrate the death of the serial killer – drinking beer, and chanting for Bundy to burn.

When it was time for Bundy’s last meal, he refused to pick something and was given the standard – steak, eggs, hash browns and toast. But Bundy didn’t even pick at it, and died hungry.

On his last day the cold-blooded killer made one last phone call to his mother Louise Bundy.

Around 42 people attended Bundy’s execution at Florida State Prison – but his mother was not one of them.
