TGI Fridays in Edinburgh tells irate diner 'we hear you' after they slate experience

The American-style food chain were forced to respond to critical feedback left on TripAdvisor, following the customer's visit to the TGI Fridays diner at Fort Kinnaird

Leaving a two out of five star rating on the travel review website, the guest slammed the service they experienced and said they wouldn't be back.

In response, the TGI's marketing team said: 'we're hearing you, tough to take though it is'.

The diner left a lengthy comment on TripAdvisor which said: "Pre booked a table, got seated, ordered drinks and food, three out of the full four meals came, but once the fajita wraps arrived, the guacamole, salsa and yoghurt were there, but there was no chicken fajita.

"We waited a couple of minutes and asked a passing server who said they would go and see. Still nothing, so we asked another one, nothing. Ten minutes later we asked another waiter who brought it.

"The price has gone up but the portion sizes are less and there is no coleslaw with burgers.

"Very poor slow customer service, no value for money at all. We won't be back anytime soon."

TGI Friday's responded to say they 'mostly had rave reviews' and commented: "We're hearing you, tough to take though...
