The Duke Energy Foundation, a company that offers philanthropic support to meet the needs of communities where Duke Energy customers live and work, is offering USD500,000 in grants to help local businesses from restaurants to retailers aimed at accommodating the changing environment via the Hometown Revitalization Grant Program.

The grant application is available now until May 31 and is offered at duke-energy.com/hometown. The firm is to announce the grant decisions in August.
