The incredible Only Fools and Horses themed café built inside a double-decker bus

A mobile roadside caterer has taken her business to the next level, converting an old double-decker bus into her very own Only Fools and Horses themed café, complete with seating for 20, a takeaway area, and even a selection of memorabilia from the show.

Carolyn Pricthard, 50, has been running her Only Fools themed burger van ‘Only Food and Sauces’ for five years on her pitch.

She said: “My dad brought me up on Only Fools and Horses, I love the show.”

Over the last five years in the burger van she built up a loyal customer base. She decided the business had outgrown her trusty Citroen Relay van and it was time for an upgrade.

Carolyn said: “It was a bit like Jaws where they say ‘we’re gonna need a bigger boat’.

“My friend’s husband said one day ‘look what I’ve found on Ebay’.

"Basically someone had started converting the bus into an Air BnB, and he’d only had the bus three months when his girlfriend had said, ‘It’s me or the bus’.

“So he’d put it up for sale and I was lucky enough to see it and get it.”

Carolyn’s family and friends have all pitched in to get the bus into shape over the last six weeks, decorating the interior and hand painting the outside to match the yellow of Del Boy’s famous Reliant Robin.
