Yes, a royal has been on Friends before, and no, while I wish more than anything it could have been the perfect 90s iconery let's pretend this is a word, just for now of Lady Di making a cameo, alas, it was not.

It was actually Fergie! No, not that Fergie. But London Bridge was involved.

Sarah Ferguson, ex-wife of Prince Andrew and mother of Princess Eugenie and Beatrice, actually made a very sweet cameo in the legendary London episode of Friends "London baby!!!!" and you probably didn't even clock it at all.

This is one of two notable cameos in the London episodes, with the other being Sir Richard Branson.

Branson was given a brief appearance on the show as a tourist merchandise flogger in exchange for flying the entire cast and crew over to London to film.

This was because he was such a massive fan of the show and the cost of transporting the gang and all their equipment was daunting price wise.

But following Joey's purchase of a ridiculous hat, we bump into another famous face.
