Bill Kenwright presents a new stage production of the classic film, Shawshank Redemption 21 years after it was first released.

Despite protests of innocence, Andy Dufresne is handed a double life sentence for the brutal murder of his wife and her lover. Incarcerated at the notorious Shawshank facility, he quickly learns that no one can survive alone. Starring well known TV actors Ian Kelsey and Patrick Robinson.

One Direction are at Metro Radio Arena this weekend to kick off a trio of dates in Newcastle, marking the first time they've played in the city without a certain former member.
