Three arrested in Scotland amid major police operation after Bolton shootings

Greater Manchester Police launched a probe after two shootings in the area this month -one on March 17 and one on March 21. On March 21, officers responded to reports of the shooting at an address on Mercia Street, in Deane, at about 9.30pm

A cordon was put in place on the residential street after a man suffered injuries after being shot. Police said his wounds were 'not serious'.

The shooting on March 17 was reported on Montserrat Road, GMP said. No further details on this incident have been released.

Yesterday March 26, officers from GMP's Force Critical Wanted Unit and officers from Police Scotland carried out a raid in the Tulloch area of Perth. They arrested three males as part of the ongoing investigation.

A 27-year-old man and a 23-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of assault and firearms offences. A 17-year-old boy was also arrested on suspicion of breach of bail.
