Tivoli A/S (CPH:TIV), an amusement park and pleasure garden in Copenhagen, Denmark, reported on Tuesday a loss after tax of DKK59.5m for the first quarter of 2019, from 1 January 2019 to 31 March 2019.

This was a 16% decline over loss after tax of DKK51.3m in Q1 2018.

Net revenues for the quarter were DKK110.0m, down by 7% as compared with DKK117.9m in Q1 208.

Number of guests during the quarter was 253,000, down by 34% as compared with 385,000 guests in Q1 2018.

Reportedly, as expected, the level of activity is lower than 2018 because of fewer opening days due to the Easter being in the first quarter in 2018 and that Tivoli in 2018 had many guests in The Halls attending the play 'Midt om Natten'. Because of the lower activity and an increased...
