Sam and Tom have become friends after the pair were snapped filming together in Edinburgh back in May 2022. Edinburgh Live reported that Sam Heughan was spotted filming in Tom Kitchin's Edinburgh restaurant as part of his Starz documentary series with fellow Scot, Graham McTavish, titled Men In Kilts.
The Scottish actor tours his homeland alongside Graham, delving into its culture and history, and decided to pop into Tom's 'The Kitchin' establishment for a bite to eat.
Sam has been celebrating things other than acting, as his whisky was commended for its quality at the 2022 San Francisco World Spirit Awards.
The Sassenach whisky has been commended for its quality at the 2022 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, being awarded a Double Gold certification for it's efforts.
