ULEZ cameras toppled over in Uxbridge as 'protesters' joke 'it is windy'

A man can be heard saying afterwards: " ULEZ is having a bad day over here. This one's fell over." A voice is then heard saying: "Have a look at that -it's windy here today in Hillingdon."

The camera then cuts to what seems to be a different traffic light on its side. A voice says: "I don't believe it"

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police Service said: "We're aware of a video allegedly showing damage to a ULEZ camera in Long Lane, junction with Freezeland Way, Uxbridge."

A TfL spokesperson said: “Vandalism is unacceptable and all incidents on our network are reported to the police for investigation. Criminal damage to ULEZ cameras puts the perpetrators at risk of prosecution and injury, while simultaneously risking the safety of the public. Camera vandalism will not stop the ULEZ operating London-wide. All vandalised cameras are repaired or replaced as soon as possible.
