Volkswagen AG (Xetra: VW), a Germany-based automaker, has entered a settlement with the Canadian government over allegations that it deliberately broke environmental protection laws.
This move is a part of the company's worldwide 'dieselgate' scandal. In a court hearing scheduled for Friday, both parties plan to seek judges' approval for their negotiated solution.
