Volvo AB (STO:VOLVB) announced on Wednesday the appointment of Roger Alm as a new member of Volvo's Group executive board and president Volvo Trucks.
Alm will replace Claes Nilsson, who will retire from his position, effective 1 January 2019.
Currently, Alm is president for the European division at Volvo Trucks. He began his career at Volvo Trucks in 1989 and he has held many senior positions at the company, including as head of operations in Latin America and Europe.
Simultaneously, Diana Niu has been appointed as a member of the group executive board and EVP group Human Resources for Volvo Group.
