Cameron, 31, is on trial accused of his mother's murder at the Supreme Court of Western Australia The court heard the pair argued after he refused to get in an ambulance with the medical staff when they arrived at the property.

The court has heard of how the pair argued when he refused to get in ambulance with medical staff when they arrived at the property. He then told his mother to 'f**k off' before attacking her with a knife in the kitchen.

A paramedic said he heard Carol shout "no, no, don't, stop", before she crawled to the living room while Callum continued to stab her.

A police officer who arrived on the scene said he found Cameron sitting on a couch, with blood on his hands, looking "remarkably calm". Cameron has admitted the manslaughter of his mother by inflicting multiple penetrating stab wounds.

However he has denied he intended to murder her and claimed he was in a state of delirium at the time due to drugs. Documents submitted to the court by the prosecution stated: "Ms Cameron was encouraging the accused to move to the front door.
