West Lothian gala day descends into mass brawl in front of concerned locals

Locals looked on in shock as feral youths battered each other at the event popular with families. Two weapon-wielding groups were filmed confronting each other in Polbeth, West Lothian, on Saturday, June 25

Shocking footage shows two young men coming to blows on the pavement as a group of around 12 wade in with blows of their own, reports the Record.

They are seen throwing pickets and garden spades at those grappling on the ground.

One young man is filmed suffering multiple blows to his face and body as the pair wrestle in broad daylight.

A second topless male then bolts into the altercation and uses a wooden picket to attack another teen.

The fight is broken up when a concerned local can be heard shouting: "He's alright, he's alright."

A second video shows two gangs armed with garden apparatus charge towards one another on the same street as residents watch on in horror.

A young male is seen with blood splattered across his face before he swaggers towards the opposing gang.

The groups shout at one another in an intense stand-off when one can be heard shouting: "Mon then ya d***."

A topless man is then seen launching a chair at another man.
