West Lothian mum forced to leave bus after elderly man 'shouts at her baby'

Khloe Mcdonald, 21, from Bathgate, was travelling on a bus in Livingston with her one-year-old daughter Darcey when the distressing incident occurred

She alleges that an inebriated elderly man first started to speak to her daughter while they were waiting at the bus stop in Livingston Central. While standing nearby, he reportedly said to the one-year-old: "you better behave yourself you greeting faced wee b******".

Shocked, but worried the drunk man could be dangerous if she reacted, the mum-of-one decide to ignore the rude comments and get on the bus.

Unfortunately the ordeal didn't end there as her daughter's crying sparked the old man to continue to allegedly shout at the baby and fire threats at the one-year-old.

Eventually the afraid mother had enough and was forced to leave the bus with her daughter because of the uncomfortable atmosphere.

Speaking to Edinburgh Live, Khloe said: "I got on a bus from Livingston Centre and they were at the bus stop and to start with they were both obviously pure drunk and they were talking to my wee girl who is one, her name is Darcey.

"They were talking to her and the man was like 'aw you better behave yourself this time, you better not be a greeting face wee b*****' and all that.

"So I just ignored them then we got on the bus and obviously my daughter hadn't slept all day so she was a little bit gurney, it's a forty minute bus trip so any child would be gurney on it.

"The man was shouting so she started to get upset, I was just ignoring it then he was shouting 'shut up' and 'stop your whinging' and I kept ignoring it.
