West Lothian police arrest driver high on cocaine and driving without insurance

Officers from the Livingston Road Policing unit say that they stopped the motorist at the West Lothian town of Uphall

It is understood that the incident took place on Saturday June 18 and that the male driver was also driving without insurance.

Officers took a blood sample from the driver and tested it using their roadside DrugWipes kit, with the specimen testing positive for cocaine.

Police say that they have reported the driver for the offence to the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service.
