The strikes began on Friday and there will be an overtime ban on Tuesday, April 9 where thousands more trains could be cancelled. The rail firms striking on Monday include Thameslink, Gatwick Express, South Western Railway, C2C, Greater Anglia, Great Northern, Southeastern and Southern

Many services are running rail replacements to accommodate those who need to travel. On Tuesday there will be amended timetables across the rail network with fewer services operating.

These will start later than usual due to Monday's strikes. With fewer trains running on Tuesday, services are expected to be much busier.
