Wheel Pros, a US-based company that designs, manufactures and distributes proprietary branded aftermarket vehicle enhancements for light trucks, SUVs, passenger cars and ATVs/UTVs backed by Clearlake Capital Group, LP and in collaboration with management, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Transamerican Auto Parts (TAP) from Polaris Inc. (NYSE: PII), a company involved in powersports.

The deal is likely to be completed in the third quarter, subject to customary closing conditions. The financial advisor to Polaris in connection with the transaction is Baird. The legal counsel to Wheel Pros and Clearlake is Kirkland & Ellis LLP.
