If you're hoping for a full solar eclipse in the UK soon, don't hold your breath. The next total eclipse of the sun visible from the UK is in September 2090.

However, if you're willing to travel to mainland Europe, there will be another one in 2026 that is visible in northern Spain, tracking up to Iceland, reports TimeAndDate.com. Because the path of the total eclipse isn't a straight line, it will mostly miss the UK.
