Unfazed by their disabilities, these young football fans are still able to play the game they love.

Walbottle Rhinos offers a lifeline for disabled adults who want to play the beautiful game at a competitive standard in line with their ability.

But the Tyneside club could need to find extra funds from somewhere next season if the league organisers move ground.

That's why officials have signed up to the Chronicle's Wish campaign as they look to score with a share of the [pounds sterling]35,000 we're giving away to organisations across the region.

Gillian Milne, who entered the club into Wish, said: "We are a disabled football team for young adults.

"We train at Walbottle Campus on a Wednesday evening and currently have 13 players on our books, who play in the Ability Counts League.

"But the league may be moving ground next season so the team will need to book a minibus for travel to and from matches.

"Any money we get through the Wish campaign will be put towards this.
